Updated: Feb 6, 2019

We have been learning a lot about essential oils and how they work in the body. If you have not yet read the Essential Oil Series, it is a great start to get your feet wet and helps with some of the topics covered here.

Intimacy is an important component in a relationship. There is a universal human need for love in all three aspects of health: Physical, mental, and emotional. But intimacy is difficult at times, with obstacles ranging from low sex drive, to emotional/psychological conditions that prevent performance. People seek external help with therapist, seminars, or counseling so their relationship improves. But not everyone can afford services like that and sometime these things don't tackle the source of the issue. Essential oils may help in a variety of ways that can tackle intimacy issues ranging from stamina to confidence.

Working all week is not only physically taxing, but takes a lot of emotional and mental energy. If we do not take the time to replenish and recover ourselves then we end up becoming burnt out and unmotivated. It is this process that can bleed into the rest of our lives where we get to a point that we are unmotivated for everything! Make this bath salt to not only replenish the mind and body, but also set the mood.

First create the essential oil blend in a separate container. Something small so they essential oils can blend properly will be preferable. After thoroughly cleaning your mason jar and drying, measure out four ounces of epsom salt and pour half into the mason jar. Pour the essential oil mix into the jar, cover the top, and shake vigorously. Thirty seconds is enough time, now pour in the cinnamon powder and the rest of the epsom salt. Cover and shake again for another minute until the salt mixture has an even brown tone. Enjoy in the bath tub or create a hand/foot soak for the evening.

Epsom salt is well known for helping sore muscles and joints. Passionate Body Oil

Sometimes people are not tired but, rather lack confidence, or even be impotent. No matter where it may stem from, if not addressed and processed in a healthy way, it could develop into a characteristic that you may not want. Body oils are great because they deliver a effective aromatic experience but also get into your blood stream faster when massaged in. Massage this oil onto feet, back, hands, and even inner thigh to set the mood and arouse.

Items:

1. 8 ounce amber pump bottle

2. 8 ounces of your choice of carrier oil

3. 3 drops Geranium EO

4. 3 drops Clary Sage EO

5. 2 drops Ylang Ylang EO

Directions:

First create the blend by mixing them together in the amber bottle you cleaned out. Warm your carrier oil until its warm to touch. If you use a microwave do it in spurts of 15 seconds. Once it is warm pour into glass amber bottle. Shake for at least two minutes then let sit for one day. You can use it sooner but the aroma wont be completely infused. Store in a cool place away from sunlight. Use within the next two months. Since it is a natural product with no preservatives it can go rancid.

Clary Sage acts as a grounding oil to help alleviate any type of anxiety but also increase body temperature by improving blood circulation. We are pairing it with Ylang Ylang and Geranium for their balancing effects on emotions and they all three help with impotence. You can massage this blend on your genitals lightly in increments of ten to fifteen drops.

We have body oils too in our valentine scents Sinnamon Body Oil and Cupid Body Oil are both made with layers of aphrodisiac warming oils and we use energy work to enhance its qualities.

Bedroom Mist Spray

Sprays are great for changing the mood or feel of a space. They allow the essential oils to diffuse through the air as they ride on the small mist droplets. Spraying it on a couch or bed will help the essential oils spread evenly and it will leave its aroma for a couple hours. This next DIY product is a light scent suitable for the bedroom, but also creates a sensual atmosphere.

Focused Spray
Sprays work in the same way as a diffuser in that the essential oils "ride" on water droplets throughout the room. The main difference is the size of the water droplets. Diffusers make them smaller than a droplet of mist!

Items:

1. 4 oz amber spray bottle

2. 1 drop Bergamot EO

3. 1 drop Ginger EO

4. 1 drop Ylang Ylang EO

5. 1 drop Sandalwood EO

Directions:

First clean out your amber spray bottle and add your essential oils. Let the blend sit for at least fifteen minutes and fill the bottle with drinking water. We suggest using drinking water instead of tap water, because the heavy metals and chemicals that make it hard water can be irritating to the skin overtime. Always shake before use! the essential oils are hydrophobic and will separate themselves, so shake to spread them evenly through the bottle.

We love this blend its great for everywhere and has a spicy undertone from the ginger but a lively soft floral smell. It does have aphrodisiac qualities as well so don't spray it everywhere!

We have variety of sprays that help with different things. We also carry two valentine sprays for mood setting: Sinnanmon Spray and Cupid Spray.
